Yu Yu Hakusho

Introduction

This is a great anime show, one of my second favorites, DBZ is my favorite. Yusuke, the main character, goes from a bullying, school skipping, good for nothing hard headed kid to one of the afterworlds most well trusted and respected detectives. His job is to stop wrong evil doers who threaten earth and the after world. Fighting along side him is his friend Kuwabara, the legendary theif Kurama, king badass Hiei, and a number of others as the series progresses. The series starts off with Yusuke skipping school and after beating up Kuwabara and his gang he accidently gets hit by a car while trying to save a kid that wandered into the street. By doing this he interupted the chain of events that was suppose to happen because even King Yama himself(God) didn't think Yusuke would actually sacrifice his life for the kid. Amazingly the kid was suppose to survive with out a scratch anyway so Yusuke died for nothing. Eventually he makes a deal with King Yama that he would work for him to help protect the earth and the after world from those who wish it harm in return for his life back on earth. From there the story builds up really fast and Yusuke has to fight off some pretty nasty customers his first day on the job! As time passes Yusuke and Kawabara become very close friends and both grow tremendously in physical and spirtual strength. The fighting scenes are amazing and always keep you guessing because the good guys don't always win!

Character Biographies

Yusuke

This 14 year old punk is the star of Yu Yu Hakusho ^_^. He was the worst student in his Junior High School. He got bad grades, skipped all of his classes and did not care about the law. And he is the toughest kid at Sarayashiki Junior High School. He fought 24/7. His biggest rival is Kuwabara, but Kuwabara always got his butt kicked by Yusuke. Yusukes life changed when he sacrificed his life for a little kid. Yusuke doing that changes the course of the show and it gets interesting and full of action!!

Kuwabara

Kuwabara is Yusuke's rival. There is not a big difference between them, they get in trouble,fight,curse,skip classes,cause chaos and pretty much everything you can name. Kuwabara's main goal is to defeat Yusuke in a street fight but he fails all the time. He always gets his butt kicked. That all changes and Kuwabara and Yusuke become friends as the story goes along. Kuwabara joins Yusuke in his journey in the Spirit World.

Kuruma

Kurama is a demon in a human body , in fact he is more than 300 years old in his demon form. He is powerfull and strong and he has no mercy, he is also soft spoken and very wise as well. His techniques are deadly and dangerous. He is sometimes mistaken for a girl. He is a good friend of Hiei and they try to steall the ancient artifacts but get caught and defeated by Yusuke and as their punishment they have to join Yusuke on his journey.

Hiei

Hiei is a Fire Demon who was born in the Ice Country Koorime and that is known as a curse. He was cast from the Ice Country into the world of Makai. He was given a tear gem of his mother and the Ruri told him to be strong and so he was sent to the world of Makai. A group of thieves raised him then later on abandon him. He lost his tear gem when he was in a battle. So he wanted to find his Ice Country Koorime but he needed the third eye the Jagan to find it. With the power of the Jagan he can control weak Demons and he can use Jagans powerfull techniques. He got the Jagan implanted by Shiqure but he had to keep his end of the bargain. He must never tell his sister who he really is. Later on he becomes friends with Kurama and they try to steal the ancient artifacts in the Spirit World, but they caught and they were defeated by Yusuke and as their punishment they must join Yusuke on his journey. Other than that Hiei is a swordsman with incredible speed and strenght and wisdom.
